About the Visual Relationships section

Visual Relationships checks how fast you can take another point of view. You see two aircraft and judge whether a statement about their positions is true from the jet's perspective, which flips left and right whenever the jet is pointing toward you or sideways.

Controllers do this constantly: a pilot's left is not the scope's left. The difficulty is not the geometry, it is doing it in about a second without mirroring the picture by mistake.

Our generator balances true and false answers and covers every heading, so there is no pattern to lean on. Practice mode explains each item; timed mode keeps the pace short.

Tips from practice

  • Imagine sitting in the jet's cockpit facing its nose, then decide.
  • When the jet points down the screen, expect left and right to swap; check that first.
  • Speed comes from consistency. Use the same mental routine for every item.

Common questions

What is the observer or eye viewpoint?
Candidates describe a second part where positions are judged from a marked observer rather than the jet. Our drill includes both perspectives and introduces each with a short tutorial.
Do I need a keyboard?
No. Keyboard shortcuts are there for speed, but large True and False buttons work on tablets and phones.
