A short taster of each section in the order candidates report meeting them on the Air Traffic Skills Assessment. Each demo takes two or three minutes and ends with your score. All items are original practice, not real test content.

1. Section 1Standard

   Number Differences

   Single digits appear one after another, about two seconds each. For every new digit you type the difference between it and the one before, on the numeric keypad, as a running chain. It rewards a steady rhythm, quick mental subtraction and not losing your place.

2. Section 2Standard

   Memory Variables

   Letters are paired with values (A = 3, K = 7) and shown briefly, then you recall them in a different order. Later levels mix in simple equations such as A = B + 2, where some values are given and the rest must be worked out from memory.

3. Section 3Standard

   Visual Relationships

   A large jet and a small aircraft appear at different angles. You decide quickly whether statements like "the small aircraft is to the jet's left" are true or false, first from the jet's own point of view and then from an observer's viewpoint.

4. Section 4Standard

   ATC Simulation

   Numbered aircraft move across a radar-style field. When two are about to conflict, you type one's number to remove it, but removing aircraft that were never in danger costs points. A second part adds arithmetic problems at the same time, so you manage the traffic while calculating.

   Work Style

   Groups of statements about how you work are shown together, and you choose the one most like you and the one least like you. There are no right answers, but consistency matters, and the format feels unusual the first time you meet it.

6. Section 6Complete

   Reading Comprehension

   You read short, factual passages and answer a few questions on each: what the passage is mainly about, what can be concluded from it, and which statement must be true. The trap answers are plausible but go beyond what the text actually says.

7. Section 7Complete

   Logical Reasoning

   Each item sets up a small scenario, such as five pilots on a schedule or people around a table, with rules about who can go where. You work out which arrangement is possible or what must be true. Candidates report no going back and unanswered items counting against you.
